Fork to Fork
In this 10th anniversary special reissue of Fork to Fork, one of Britain’s best-loved gardening personalities, Monty Don and his wife Sarah celebrate the vital link between growing, cooking and eating your own fruit, vegetables and herbs all year round, as recorded in their very own kitchen garden.
Food is grown and cooked in one continuous process and with one common aim - enjoyment. For Monty and Sarah Don, a love of eating must include an awareness of how that food is grown, and a love of growing your own food must include an active interest in how best to cook it.They demonstrate this philosophy in this seasonal month-by-month guide on how to cultivate and cook a range of vegetables, herbs and fruits which is accompanied by photographs that record a year in the kitchen garden at their home.
With new introductory text from Monty, this wonderful book includes detailed instructions, gardening tips and more than 40 recipes to inspire food lovers to integrate their gardens and kitchens wherever they live and whatever their taste in food.
