Creative agency back local talent
Leicester creative agency Rock Kitchen Harris is helping showcase some of the best local design talent by supporting a new print exhibition set to open in the city next month.
The Passion2Print workshop event will show work produced by members of the Leicester Print Workshop – an affordable design place created to help artists and designers practise their craft.
RKH are supporting the exhibition by designing and printing the promotional event fliers. A key member of the design team, Matt Laws is also selecting the final prints to be displayed at the six-week showcase event.
Matt said: “As a creative agency we are always looking to encourage local creative talent. We like to see new, fresh ideas and we are delighted to support any exhibition that helps to promote that. The Print Workshop is great; it enables the creative people of Leicester to develop and practise their skills at a small cost. The Passion2Print exhibition is now a chance for them to show off their work.”
“I am very excited to be part of the event. Judging by the fantastic work I’ve seen so far, the exhibition is set to demonstrate some real talent.”
Rock Kitchen Harris has been a well established agency for over 25 years. Their work lies in advertising, design, public relations and web. Following this event, RKH will be making a new website and producing design work for Leicester Print Workshop’s touring exhibition in 2010.
The Passion2Print exhibition is currently running in Nottingham at the Rufford craft centre. It will be in Leicester at The City Gallery from 16th November - 28th November 2009. It will end its tour next year, at the Rugby Art Gallery and Museum from 12th January - 7th March 2010.
