Santa Claus visits Markfield

Santa visited Markfield to raise funds for unique Leicestershire charity the Shuttlewood Clarke Foundation. Santa Claus came to town with 2 special trips to Markfield on Monday 7th & Wednesday 9th December 2009 raising over £200 towards the wonderful work of the Shuttlewood Clarke Foundation; a registered charity that provides support, care and friendship to the elderly, adults of all ages with disabilities and young people.

Many thanks to the people of Markfield for their generous support and Santa looks forward to seeing everyone again at Ulverscroft Manor, Priory Lane, Ulverscroft on Monday 21st December when he will be making another special appearance at 2.00pm at the Foundation’s Christmas Fair which runs from 10am -3pm.
