Femi 'tackles' the beauty world and scores a 'conversion'

Leicester based Femi Health & Beauty celebrated the grand opening of new premises on Highcross Street, with celebrity guests – Tigers rugby stars Scott Hamilton, Johne Murphy and Brett Deacon.
Over 250 guests including clients and the local business community, gathered at the new salon to celebrate the launch, tour the facilities and meet the rugby stars.
Femi Latif, owner of Femi Health & Beauty, said: This expansion is the culmination of a lifelong dream. We needed to introduce a new dimension to complement our Highcross outlet and to cope with the ever increasing demand for our treatments and therapies. Today has been a triumph.
Tigers rugby star, Scott Hamilton, said: The treatments cater for both men and women and it’s great to see that the premises are well thought out and designed for people with disabilities. It’s always good to see local success stories and I am delighted to lend my support.
Owner, Femi Latif, has over 23 years experience in the health and beauty industry. In 1991 she opened her first salon in the Shires. Since then, her business has grown in strength and stature. Year after year, Femi’s expertise has secured the top UK awards in skincare and her reputation has guaranteed a sound and loyal client base through word of mouth and local advertising.
