Roger Wilson, the Chairman of Leicestershire County Council, said: “The work on show is truly original and unique.  I was amazed to find out about some of the sculptures featured especially the ones made completely out of butter and the amazing sculptures of the unborn child. The talent and techniques used to make them clearly shows how gifted Leicestershire people are. I am pleased that the County Council has been able to support this remarkable show of work and bring it out for everyone to enjoy and see.  Anyone considering purchasing an orginal gift should take a look at some of the fantastic items and help support local makers and artists. I wish them all every success for the future.”

The directory has been funded by Arts Council England. It is free and will be available at many local arts venues. If you would like a copy of the directory posted to your address please email your details to: lucia.masundire@leics.gov.uk.
