Over 300 revellers enjoyed a truly fabulous night at the 25th Anniversary LOROS Ball held at the new Caterpillar Tigers Stand which was once again sponsored by generous NEXT. The room was beautifully transformed by Jigsaw Events, from colourful ruffled walls to sparkly table centre pieces.

The evening started with an 80’s hair and fashion show created by Graeme at LOX Hair Design followed by the musical talents of Adam Thomas and his Dancing Ladies who sang and danced through a variety of musical genres and finished with a crowd pleasing Irish dance. Matt Poole compéred the whole evening and was magnificent from beginning to end, his ease with the guests raised laughter and his obvious friendship with Martin Johnson, LOROS Patron and Guest, was enjoyed by all. The evening did not end there however as the guests were ushered out to the stands and treated to a fantastic fireworks show, created by Crescendo Fireworks. The remainder of the evening saw the guests in the talented hands of Trevor T, Entertainer Extraordinaire . Throughout the evening guests were invited to enjoy the Formula One Racer and experience the thrill of top grand prix racing.

Throughout the evening the ‘Ladies in Green’ sold raffle tickets and the fine wines donated by Francis Fine Wines, the VIP tables drank Bollingers’ Champagne ‘Ayala Brut’. The Tigers Staff were extremely helpful and the Lamb was cooked perfectly

Over £16,000 was raised on the evening and Marisa Spiteri, Event Organiser and Corporate Fundraiser for LOROS said “The evening went so well and the Ladies in Green (whose dresses were donated by NEXT), were all volunteers and did an awesome job of taking care of our guests. The atmosphere was relaxed and everyone was very generous throughout the night.”

Save The Date for the Annual LOROS Ball, to be held at The Marriott on 12th November.
