Pharmacy burglar gets a surprise candy, not pills

Edmond police in Oklahoma say a local pharmacist gained a measure of revenge against a serial burglar in a sweet fashion.

Police say they responded to an alarm at the Clinic Pharmacy one morning recently and found a window broken and four pill bottles of hydrocodone were missing.

But they say the pharmacist told them that because of recent burglaries, he had filled the pill bottles with chocolate sweets instead of the drug.

Police say they don’t have any suspects in the break-in.
