LEBEC fashion show

Leicestershire Education Business Company staged their annual Leicestershire Schools Fashion Show at Athena, Leicester, attended by over 1000 people. Over 350 students from 15 schools took to the stage to celebrate the City and County’s creative talent and inspirational designs.

It was a big night for the students who truly ran the show. All the clothing was created and designed by themselves as well as the modelling and choreography, Leicester College provided the technical sound, with Rawlins Community College videoing the spectacular performances to produce a DVD to commemorate the evening. The two comperes, Tom Ross and Christian Hewgill, both studying broadcast journalism at Not t ingham Trent University, were former students at De Lisle and Rawlins.

The night was sponsored by British Gas Business, John Cheatle School Wear, Consultancy Vérité Limited and George (Asda). The High Sheriff, Col. Robert Martin, Freida Hussain, representing the Leicestershire Lieutenancy and Civic dignitaries from across the City and County were in attendance to enjoy the colourful and vibrant catwalk performances on stage.
