Muslim Khatri Association celebrates 35 years whilst raising funds for Loros

The Muslim Khatri Association celebrated 35 years delivering quality services and facilities in the city of Leicester.

A Special Gala Celebration was held at the Platinium Suite Leicester on 12th June 2011 to honour founder members and to celebrate 35 years of success within the community.

The Event was kicked off with an outdoor bazaar and indoor fashion show and general entertainment. During the celebration a raffle was held raising £583 for the Charity Loros

Despite the heavy down pour of rain almost 3000 people visited the event throughout the day.

The event honoured recent graduates of all ages from the local community. The event also highlighted that you are never to old to learn by honouring one such graduate over the age of 60.

Numerous Awards were presented to community members and in particular the outstanding award winners.
