A UK charity that employs blind and disabled people to manufacture and sell a range of beauty products is celebrating a major boost. Stephen Fry, well known as a prolific and widely followed tweeter, sent out a message to his 2.8 million followers highlighting the fantastic work done by “CLARITY - Employment for Blind People”. Mr Fry sent this out whilst filming in New Zealand.
Jeremy Robinson, Chief Executive of CLARITY said, 'It’s just wonderful to be recognised in this way by Stephen Fry. Our story is a classic case of 'self help’ on a grand scale. Our staff are making and selling products and competing in the open market. We literally turn 'buying' into 'giving'.

David Sore, Marketing Manager of CLARITY said, ‘We are a charity with a difference. Instead of asking for donations, we make and sell an extensive range of beauty products which we sell nationwide on our website www.clarityproducts.org This enables people to buy their everyday products and know they are helping give full time meaningful employment to a blind or disabled person’.
CLARITY can trace its history back to Victorian times. It employs over 80 staff in its North London factory and its sales offices throughout the UK.
