Everards celebrates another year of success at annual event

Everards brewery has shown its appreciation for another year of hard work from its high achieving licensees, by treating them to a fifth Annual Licensee Lunch.

The lunch at Leicester racecourse, followed by an afternoon at the races, received a great turn out with over 200 of the brewery’s licensees gathering to celebrate another successful year. Guests enjoyed a day of hospitality, with the 15 best performing licensees presented with an award for their hard work and dedication.

The award winners were surprised with a three day all expenses paid trip to Belfast in July, champagne and flowers. The awards were presented by Richard Everard and Lewis Deacon of the Leicester Tigers. Everards initiated the annual Licensee Lunch five years ago, as an opportunity to show its appreciation to its pubs and their licensees.

Richard Everard said: “The continued dedication, enthusiasm and commitment from our licensees is what helps to maintain the success of the Everards brand, which is something we treasure.

“It is our pleasure to offer an enjoyable day for our licensees to show our appreciation. We congratulate our award winners for all of their hard work and we are delighted to see so many here to celebrate with us.”

The pubs are judged on their cask ale mix and volume Mission Enjoyable results - Everards mystery shopper scheme and cellar audits. This year’s winners included:
