Happy 10th birthday Cini
Cini Restaurant in Enderby opened 10 years ago and is still growing strong. Owner/Chef Andrea Paduano was born in Naples Italy and has worked his craft world wide - travelling to exotic locations such as Tanzania, Seychelles and Zanzibar, blending the menu of Mediterranean cuisine with a twist of spice - an exciting combination!
Head Chef for many years in popular restaurants around Leicester such as Luna Blue and for those of us dining out in the 80's, who can forget Joe Rigatoni's? Eventually Andrea took the plunge and opened Cini Restaurant, traditional Italian cuisine with a contemporary flair.
Andrea’s passion flows through the impeccable decor and ambiance of the restaurant and to his merit - all of the produce is locally sourced which is of prime importance. “A fresh meal is a good meal” says Andrea who is totally committed to offering customers a true taste of Classic Italian food with a modern day twist. One of the many reasons for Cini’s continuing success is down to Andrea’s dedication to offering excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction is a top priority.
Since opening he has continued to attract local customers and corporate clients like Next, Santander, Centrica and Caterpillar, just to mention a few very convenient for the conference and meeting facilities they have on offer. You can check into one of the 14 modern bedrooms all with free wi-fi and inclusive of breakfast for 1 night or even up to 3 months like some overseas business clients do.
The contemporary glass wall inside the restaurant enables diners to view the kitchen area where it all happens, and the fusion of northern and southern Italian cuisine is created for the discerning palate.
An extensive lunch and evening menu awaits to tickle the tastebuds, more importantly, if you cannot see your favourite dish on the menu, the answer is simple - just ask, as all dishes are prepared to order, the kitchen can create something individual, as long as the ingredients are available they will try their best to accomodate your tastes.
To capture the authenticity for specific Italian dishes, Andrea regularly orders in ingredients direct from Italy including cheeses and delicacies such as truffles from the Piedmonte region.
The outside terrace is an ideal meeting place for a quick drink to catch up with friends or colleagues after work, no pressure for sitting and eating, just relaxing and enjoying. The family friendly feeling is infectious and children are most welcome as long as the parents are well behaved!! So much so that on Saturday lunch times and during the school holidays children are invited to create and make their own pizza’s or pasta dishes in the restaurant kitchen as part of the ‘Mini chefs’ experience.
Everyone receives a warm welcome be it popping in for a drink, a light lunch or an evening out I cannot stress enough how accommodating and amiable Andrea and his staff are, so pop in and sample the delights on offer.
Cini can accommodate any special event from weddings, celebrations, christenings and birthday parties. Why not come along to one of Cini's upcoming Jazz or Opera evenings, back by popular demand?
