A Festival Of American Music For Richard III At St Martins House

The Society for Intercultural Understanding: Leicester[SICUL] organised a Festival of American Music for Richard III at St Martins House on October 18th, 2013.

A Festival Of American Music For Richard III At St Martins House
The guest speakers included Mr Richard Buckley, Director of the Archeology Department, University of Leicester, Mr Robert Adelson, Cultural Attache, Embassy of the USA in London. Mr Nick Quinn, Manager of St Martins House and Asaf Hussain, Chairman of SICUL. The band Matuto came from New York and the guests included Lord Lieutenant of Leicestershire, the High Sheriff of Leics, and the Chairman of Leicestershire County Council and many others.

The music, food and social interaction including dancing was enjoyed by all. Funds were raised for St Martins House charity and Hope Against Cancer.
