A new club for anyone involved or interested in Adult Social Care
A new club for anyone involved or interested in Adult Social Care has been formed by Colin Moore, a social entrepreneur and author of The Affordable Funeral Planning Handbook. The Leicester Social Care Curry Club is a member of a nationwide social network where members organise quarterly meet ups in curry houses and sit down to discuss social care topics while enjoying a nice curry. People are also free to talk about anything else provided there is no selling during the meet ups.
Colin who recently sponsored a Carer’s lunch at the Chutney Ivy said that Leicester with its extensive curry restaurants and winner of The Curry Capital of Britain is the ideal city to host these meet ups.
The club hopes that coming together over a curry will enable people to share experiences, ideas and views about social care that in turn will have a positive impact on their practice.
If you work in adult social care and love curry then you are very welcome to any of our quarterly curry nights. The club is free to join. For details of the next meet up please send an email to email@example.com or phone 0116 2813574.
