New Market Harborough networking event
A brand new Market Harborough networking event is due to begin on Thursday 28th January, 2016.
The Market Harborough Business Introductions and Referrals Network (BIRN) is a joint venture between Market Harborough based solicitors firm Bray & Bray Solicitors, Raymond James Investment Services and Insomnia Coffee & Wine Bar - which is the venue for the monthly networking event – based at the Symington Building on Adam and Eve Street.
The organisers of BIRN aim to make it a bit different to other networking events, by placing an emphasis on informality and on being able to meet other local business people in a relaxed atmosphere, as Bray & Bray’s Marketing Manager Hannah Wellings explains:
“Every business man or woman will be welcome to come along to BIRN for free. There won’t be any formal speeches or presentations and there’s no need to register in advance. People can simply come along on the day, anytime between 7.30am and 9am, help themselves to a free tea or coffee and speak to as many people as they like, for however long they like.”
The event, starting on Thursday 28th January, will continue to take place at the same time and venue on the last Thursday of each month. Commenting on the anticipated attendance, Raymond James’ Wealth Manager and Stockbroker Joel Pither says:
“As both Bray & Bray and Raymond James have been based on Market Harborough’s High Street for many years, we have been able to build excellent profiles within the town and have taken a keen interest in being involved in many aspects of Market Harborough community life. As such, we hope that all of our contacts will welcome the opportunity to attend our brand new networking event with us, in the New Year.”
The venue is also something new. Insomnia opened its doors to the Market Harborough community earlier this year and is owned by Raj Aggarwal, who also owns SPAR Market Harborough opposite Insomnia, both in the Symington Building. Speaking about the venue for BIRN, Raj says:
“Since Insomnia Coffee & Wine Bar opened, we have had a fantastic response from local people, most of whom are now our regulars! The range of specialist hot drinks on offer – including hot chocolate made with real melted chocolate – alongside the array of fresh cakes and goodies, all served in an uplifting and relaxing atmosphere is what makes Insomnia fresh, comfortable and appealing to everyone.
“We are really looking forward to hosting BIRN with Bray & Bray and Raymond James and hope that the local business community loves Insomnia as much as our regulars do already!”
