The Chatterbox’ – Friendly Discussion group seeks new members at Shuttlewood Clarke Foundation

As a registered charity the Shuttlewood Clarke Foundation prides itself on offering a welcoming, supportive setting for those living in the local community and throughout Leicestershire. A new inclusive social group ‘The Chatterbox’ will meet every first Friday of the month from 2.30pm – 3.45pm at Ulverscroft Grange, Whitwick Road, Ulverscroft, Leicestershire LE67 9QB. The informal discussion group will be welcoming new members on Friday 5th February from 2.30pm – Booking is essential and complimentary tea and cake will be available to all those attending! Monthly sessions will continue throughout 2016, with the Foundation welcoming a donation of £1.00 per person to include a refreshment.

Helen Baxter, Activities coordinator at the Foundation, said ‘We are encouraging those in the locality to join our new discussion group! Our meet ups will consist of an hour of informal friendly discussion, and are open to all ages and abilities’. She added ‘we are delighted to have the support of LASU, (Leicestershire Adult Schools Union) and we hope to provide a platform for individuals to share ideas and knowledge in a supportive and stimulating way!”.
