Rt Hon Keith Vaz MP backed calls from researchers at Leicester’s Hospitals to increase funding for liver and pancreatic cancer research in Leicester. Mr Vaz’s support came ahead of his visit to the department of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic surgery at Leicester General Hospital on Friday June 20.

In Concert With The Central Band Of The Royal Air Force And Uppingham School

On Saturday 18 October the Central Band of the Royal Air Force will perform a special concert at the Uppingham School Memorial Hall to mark the centenary of the outbreak of World War One.  Proceeds will be donated to the 2014 Poppy Appeal and also to the Royal Air Force Music Charitable Trust.
