A Coalville girl has written her second book in the Redgate Tails series in aid of a local animal charity.

Sherilyn Wileman (10) has penned “Redgate Tails – Sultan” a story about a European Eagle-Owl that she met at the Redgate Farm Animal Sanctuary in Markfield.

Rainbows Hosts House Of Commons Tour

Local residents are being given a unique opportunity to raise vital funds for a local charity whilst visiting a famous London landmark.

Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People are inviting people to take part in an organised guided tour at the House of Commons London with all proceeds going towards supporting their ‘Building For The Future’ Campaign.

Water Aid

The Water Aid event was held at the Cuisine of India Restaurant in Wigston. 92 guests attended the evening including Representatives from Leicester County Council, employees from HBOS Halifax/Bank of Scotland and the President along with board members of LABA - Leicester Asian Business Association, to name a few.

Leicester City Chairman Mr Mandaric at Loros

LOROS were thrilled to show Milan Mandaric (LCFC Chairman), Nigel Pearson (LCFC Manger) and Alan Birchenall (LOROS Patron and former LCFC and Chelsea legend) round their new extension. The extension has added 11 new single patient rooms to the current 8, although the total number of in-patient beds remains at 31.

Charity Lunch 523 Lodge

The sun shone on a magnificent Charity Fund Raising Lunch, hosted and organised by Janet and Arthur Bridgwood at their beautiful home, to raise money for the Devonshire Court Care Home, (RMBI) Oadby. £1,500 was raised, £1,000 of which went to Devonshire Court directly.
