An amazing Performance of Oliver from The Students of Our Lady’s Convent

Pupils from both the Junior and the Senior Schools at Our Lady’s Convent School joined together to give an unforgettable performance of Oliver! Such an interest was shown by pupils that initial auditions for Principal parts were held in the Schools very own “I’ll do Anything” which provided a wonderful lunchtime concert.

Grace Dieu Toddlers waddle for Meningitis Trust

Grace Dieu nursery department have recently enjoyed a ‘Toddle Waddle’ to raise awareness and funds for The Meningitis Trust. The energetic three year olds had three races: a bean bag race, an egg and spoon race and a running race as well as a lively walk around the school grounds.

Leicester High School Skis To Success

Having overcome a challenging start – when a 39-seater coach turned up to transport 57 people to Manchester Airport for the flight to Turin - a week of near perfect skiing was enjoyed by the students and staff of Leicester High School in Le Corbier in the French Alps over the Easter Holidays this April 2008.

The African world 12 students and 2 staff from Leicester High got to know was not the narrow existence of the tourist or Big Five safari hunter, but the more revealing progress of feeling like an exile in the bush!
