Alfa’s Black Beauty now at guest Soliihull

Alfa GT BlackLineBlack’s the way to do it at local Alfa Romeo dealership, Guest in Solihull, as it unveils the head turning, limited edition, Alfa GT BlackLine.

Ramping up the desirability of the Bertone styled Alfa GT, the Italian sporting car manufacturer has added unique 18” alloy wheels, metallic black paint and interior sports styling to create the limited edition Alfa GT BlackLine.

Yet, despite the stylish and eye-catching upgrades, the 2.0 JTS and 1.9 JTDM powered Alfa GT BlackLine models are priced lower than the current entry-level versions. Now on sale, the 2.0 JTS Alfa GT BlackLine costs £19,980 and the diesel version costs £20,980.

All limited edition Alfa GT BlackLine models feature a dramatic exterior look, with metallic black paint, satin effect door mirrors, chrome exhaust and bespoke 18” alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin boasts black leather sports seats and steering wheel with red stitching, aluminium sports pedals, an aluminium gearknob with red stitching on the gaiter, and a Bose sound system.

Delivering head-turning style and performance to match, the 165bhp 2.0 JTS petrol engine will power the Alfa GT BlackLine from 0-62mph in a sporty 8.7 seconds, and on to a top speed of 134mph; while the gutsy 150bhp 1.9 JTDM will accelerate this Grand Tourer from 0-62mph in 9.6 seconds, and produce a top speed of 130mph.

Farècla makes another clean delivery

Second phase of ground-breaking consumer car care products are launchedSmart Fabric Cleaner

Farècla Products Ltd has bolstered its SMART Consumer Car Care range by unveiling a second phase of premium products that have been painstakingly developed using genuine nano-engineered technology.

The company is already a world leader in the manufacture and supply of solutions to the professional bodyshop sector, but has recently launched a new range of car care products that have been developed using the expertise that Farècla has gained while at the forefront of the professional sector.

The first phase of SMART Consumer Car Care products was launched in June, while the second phase was unveiled to the public in October. Athird and final phase is expected to be unveiled in early 2007, taking the total number of products in the range to 24.

The four products in the second phasehave been developed in conjunction with some of the world’s leading scientists and feature revolutionary nano-engineered technology that offers numerous high-quality benefits in car care products. By engineering the size of the interlocked particles in a given product, they can be manipulated to give unrivalled performance when it comes to both cleaning and protecting materials.

Farècla’s new Fabric Cleaner product uses nano-engineered technology to effectively remove dirt, oil and other stains from interior fabric. The product is available in a 500ml trigger spray and will retail at £15.99. Using similar technology, Farècla has also devised a Leather Cleaner and Protector Kit that will be priced at £19.99.

The 250ml cleaning solution gently lifts stains and other marks from leather surfaces, while the 90ml protector leaves an invisible layer on the surface of the seat or trim, safeguarding it from future staining or marking. The qualities of the protector also allow the leather to ‘breath’ properly.

Smart Fabric Cleaner 2Farècla’s SMART Consumer Car Care range also features an Anti Mist product that both cleans and protects interior glass surfaces, preventing fogging and misting. This will retail at £9.99 for a 125ml bottle. And the final product in the second phase is a Rain Repellent Kit that, with nano-engineered technology, forms a protective layer on a car windscreen that forces rain water to ‘bead’. Coupled with the momentum of the car, these beads travel off the windscreen to give aclearer view out of the windscreen. The price for this product will be available shortly.

Farècla’s Car Care Business Manager, Steve Povey, says: “We’re extremely proud of our second phase products because a lot of brands claim to have ‘nano technology’ in their products’, but few have invested the sums that we have to give our customers true ‘nano-engineered’ technology that performs at a much higher level and gives more impressive results. We know consumers will recognise the difference.”
