The past few years have seen Andy become as instantly recognisable as his sister, Lisa Scott-Lee, formerly of hit band Steps.
Out of the public eye since, Andy has been busy writing, recording and performing music. He has been gigging throughout the UK and is currently working with top producers, recording his eagerly-awaited return to the charts in early 2008.
Andy is no stranger to the music scene. He first found notoriety with group 3SL. In it, alongside his brothers Steve and Anthony, they burst into the limelight with top 10 smashes including ‘Take It Easy’ and ‘Touch Me Tease Me’ in 2002.
Andy’s following grew and it was his gutsy demeanor which saw many people take to him when he performed on the global television phenomenon “Pop Idol”. Singing to an audience of millions on television, Andy came 7th, out of the 22,000 that auditioned.
Following this, the Pop Idol finalists released a single and album, both entering the UK charts at number 2. Andy completed his Pop Idol experience by performing in the show’s arena tour, across the length and breath of the UK. He also appeared on MTV’s hit show Totally Scott-Lee.
Andy and his wife more recently featured on ITV2’s Michelle and Andy’s Big Day where the 3 part television series followed the devoted couple on the lead up to their wedding and beyond. The series became the 2nd biggest documentary of 2006 for the channel and a new series has been commissioned for 2008.
Andy is looking forward to releasing his new single and plans for a new album are in the pipeline.

The legendary “Steve Miller Band” will release “Steve Miller: Live From Chicago” on Coming Home Studios label in the UK on Monday 2nd June. The 3-disc set boasts two DVDs and an audio CD. The first DVD features 20 classics performed live including some of Steve Miller’s biggest hits including The Joker, Fly Like An Eagle, Abracadabra and Take The Money And Run. DVD disc one features the live concert which has a running time of 110 minutes.
“Live From Chicago” is the first time Miller has released a DVD, and is also his first “official” live music release in many years. “Live From Chicago was filmed in high definition with 32 cameras, over two sold-out nights at the renowned Ravinia Chicago concert venue, in front of 35,000 people during the Summer 2007.
