A Cheesy Taste of Science

The National Space Centre is launching a brand new "foodie" event for visitors to enjoy.

This adults only night kicks off with CHEESE CLUB and is a must for anybody who likes/loves/dreams about cheese.

Come along and enjoy a child free evening at the National Space Centre. Explore the galleries, discover loads of fun stuff to see and do, then eat a lot of cheese.

Our partner for this event, Squisito Deli, will be hosting cheese tasting sessions and introducing visitors to international, national and regional cheeses they may not have tried, but will fall in love with.

The Science Team will be helping people discover why one person loves blue cheese and another cringes at the thought? How some people eat Brussels sprouts by the bunch and others prefer only peas?

They will also be testing your taste buds with some strange flavours and explaining how your taste good, and bad, cheeses.

Thanks to the amazing Empire Edibles, we will also be bringing you a tantalising treat, with a hint of science and a lot of great tastes, you will want to try again and again.  Can we tempt you with Cranberries, White Chocolate and Wensleydale fudge? Or a fudge containing Gruyère, Dark Chocolate and Rosemary?  Come along and see if a taste of fudge flavoured science tickles your taste buds!

The Centre will also host fantastic local suppliers and producers, who will offer an insight into the best things to try and buy in the future food mini market.
