Bradgate Park's first comedy night at the Conservatory Tearoom
Saturday 15th July will see the launch of Leicester’s latest comedy venue.
Tucked away in a wooded glade, hidden from view this venue yet just a short drive from the City Centre and visited by 500,000 people a year.
Bradgate Park will be holding its first comedy night at the Conservatory Tearoom, situated in their Newtown Linford Car Park this Saturday.
This events is part of the Bradgate Park Trust’s Queen of Bradgate Celebrations marking the 9 days when Leicester’s Lady Jane Grey was Queen of England 10th – 19th July 1553.
The Park will be lightening the tone of the weeklong event with some light hearted hysterical historical comedy aimed at anyone associated historically with Leicester. Yep sounds like Richard III is getting a kicking too.
All comedians are local and worked with the comedy festival or on the national comedy circuit.
Its new, quirky and in a great location.
