27 Crews battled to be crowned Dragon Boat Champions 2009. The exciting and competitive PROSTaid Dragon Boat Race, an annual event, took place on the straight mile of the River Soar, Leicester, on Sunday 7th June. Crews of 10 paddlers and a drummer raced over the 200 metre course from 10.30am with the a final 3-team race off at 4-30pm.
