Local Man John Fewkes leaves phenomenal £2.2 million to Music College

John Fewkes, a former Shepshed hosiery manufacturer who died last year aged 75, has left an astonishing £2.2m to the Royal Northern College of Music. His extensive music library has also been bequeathed to the college. The legacy is the largest it has ever received.
