LOROS Tree of Life

Relatives of those who have died at LOROS hospice are now able to remember their loved ones in a special way. The chaplaincy department at the hospice recently commissioned local artist Liam Hadjipetrou to design and create a memory tree to be situated in the chapel/prayer room.

The Duchess had a tour around the Hospice, speaking to staff and volunteers from each department and meeting patients, before unveiling a plaque to mark the opening of the wing.

New Chairman for LOROS

LOROS is pleased to announce that Professor John Feehally will take over as Chairman of the Board of Trustees when Stephen Thomas retires in June 2010. LOROS is an independent local charity providing palliative care and support to around 2,500 people each year within Leicestershire and Rutland.
