Historic Hallaton village, nestling on the Leicestershire and Rutland border, is holding a Scarecrow Festival that is set to amuse and amaze in equal measure. The two-day event is being held on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September 2019, from 11.00am to 5.00pm, and will feature up to100 scarecrows

Music lovers are invited to spend an evening at Fairfield Preparatory School, part of Loughborough Endowed Schools, as it hosts a fundraising concert for one of the world’s best clinical rehabilitation centres for the armed forces.
The City Rooms marked its tenth anniversary on Friday 16th September, around 100 friends, suppliers and clients attended a party at the Leicester City Venue to celebrate.
